With almost 15 years of design experience, Tiffany Jones of Beach House Interiors can hardly be described as a newcomer to the industry. Having spent many years earning her stripes as an Interior Designer both at home and abroad, she now brings her creativity and knowledge to the shores of County Clare.
Shore Thing
“Interior Design isn't a career you can wing successfully. Both creatively and commercially, there is a lot of knowledge that you simply cannot gain from a text book. It has to be learnt in a hands on way, that only the hard hours of experience in a design house can teach you.”
Tiffany credits the core of her learning curve to the 5 years she spent in Barbados with the award winning luxury design firm Archer's Hall. "I started at the bottom as an entry level designer and within 6 months had worked my way up to assistant to the Design Director. Before long, I was leading projects for multi-million dollar homes for a number of international private clients and property developers. It really was the stuff that dreams are made of!"
Homeward bound
Since returning to Ireland in 2012 she has gained what she describes as 'a more Irish experience' with high end Dublin design firm Helen Turkington, before moving on to designing kitchens and interiors for industry icons Neptune.
